In short
- max 10 people, with a licensed local guide
- Seats left shown live for every date
- Book now, pay your guide on the day
- Full? Choose the next date or join the waiting list
A small group walking tour in Marrakech is the friendly middle way between exploring alone and hiring a private guide. You join a few other travellers, so the price stays low. However, the group never grows above 10 people, so you can still hear your guide, ask questions and stop for photos.
Every walk has fixed dates and times. As soon as someone books, the seats left go down on this page, so you always see the real number. When a walk is full, simply choose the next date, or ask us on WhatsApp for the waiting list.
1How the small group walking tour in Marrakech works
First, choose a walk and a date in the list. Then tap Book, write your name, a WhatsApp number or an email, and the number of people. We confirm by WhatsApp or email within a few hours.
You pay your guide on the day, in cash. There is no deposit and no card needed to book. If you cannot come, tell us as early as possible so we can give your seats to someone else.
2Why we keep groups to 10 people
The lanes of the medina are narrow. With more than 10 people, the back of the group cannot hear the guide, and the walk becomes slow and stressful. With 10 at most, your guide talks to everyone and keeps the group together.
A small group also means less attention from touts and pushy sellers. Your guide handles them politely, so the walk stays calm and stress-free.

Your guide on a small group walk
Every group walk is led by a licensed local guide who knows the medina well and speaks clear English. Our guides are honest: there are no commission shops on the route, and nobody pushes you to buy.
4Small group or private guide?
Choose a small group to share the price and meet other travellers. Choose a private guide if you want your own pace, your own route, a family with young children or a special interest. Both have the same licensed local guides.

Good to know before your walk
Wear comfortable shoes and light clothes that cover shoulders and knees. Bring a little cash for entrance tickets, drinks and tips. The meeting point is confirmed in your WhatsApp message, usually a well-known square or gate that is easy to find.
